2020.5.27
Hong Kong – (27 May 2020) – CoCoa Oriental Network (CoCoa) is an ICT service provider dedicated to providing high-quality end-to-end network services and integrated IT solutions across the Greater China and beyond. CoCoa announced today the launching of a new point of presence (PoP) in Tokyo to expand its global network footprint in Asia Pacific region.
CoCoa’s new PoP is located at Equinix Tokyo-2 (TY2) International Business Exchange data center which is the most network-dense and state-of-the-art data center in Japan. In addition, it is a network hub where international and local carriers, as well as cloud providers meet to provide intensive interconnections for global customers.
CoCoa’s Tokyo PoP will enhance the data connectivity and the provision of one stop shop solutions including MPLS, VPLS, IEPL, SD-WAN and Internet Access to our global customers and carrier partners in Japan and South Korea and serves as a gateway between North America and China. It also extends CoCoa’s global backbone by adding a shorter and lower latency connection path directly between China and Japan, thereby improving and strengthening the overall customer experience in service performance.
Joel Ma, CoCoa’s CEO said: “With the new Tokyo PoP in Equinix’s TY2 data center, it reinforces CoCoa’s presence in Asia Pacific region and provides an important gateway between Asia and North America to help the company meet increasing demand for connectivity services. Apart from Tokyo PoP, CoCoa is pleased to announce our plan for a new PoP in Singapore, target to be ready in mid-2020. By adding Singapore PoP, it will increase the overall global coverage to serve more customers in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Middle East, Africa and Europe, and the most importantly, underline CoCoa’s commitment to provide the high performance and efficient network services to our customers worldwide.“
