Job Title: Global Carrier Sales Manager

Location: Hong Kong

Department: Sales and Marketing

Job Summary:

The job holder will assist the team leader to develop and manage relationship with carriers’ market, including Internet, IPVPN, SDWAN, optical network, network security, cloud connectivity, and managed services

Principle Responsibilities:

  1. Identifies and generates new sales from the global data telecom market, to meet specified production goals based on information from internet websites, newspapers, magazines, business directories, industry ads, and trade shows

  2. Promote us become the preferable partner and service provider. Develops customer relations including, but not limited to, sales leads, research, cold calling, qualifying, and developing leads, and customer service.

  3. Manage full sales cycle including qualifying prospects, proposal development, contract negotiation and project implementation. Answers customer’s questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms. Prepares and presents service proposals or quotations to include pricing and service terms and emphasizes features. Prepares and submits sales contracts and service orders in a timely manner. Estimates dates of delivery to customers based on knowledge of available facility and delivery schedules. Meets customer needs, offers options, resolves problems, and follows up with customers. Maintains and updates computer database of new customers and other sales data

  4. Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business unit, and in team strategic sales meetings

  5. Continually gathers information on competition, prevalent industry and business climate within the region, and communicates information to Management, as needed.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in ICT or data communications industry; University Degree or equivalent in Telecommunications/ICT is an advantage

  2. Experience and good understanding of data communication services and technologies including IP, MPLS, SDWAN, Ethernet, Transmission, Network Security, Cloud

  3. Self-initiated, independent, energetic, hardworking, result-oriented and able to work under pressure

  4. Creative, flexible and an innovative team player,good negotiation, problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills 

  5. good interpersonal,communication and presentation skills。Strong organization skills, ability to manage priorities and workflow, handle multi-projects and meet deadlines

  6. Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Native English speaker will be an added advantage.

  7. Occasional travel to overseas and Greater China

Job Summary:

The job holder will engage with Sales teams to understand business requirements from customer; prepare customized solution design and presentation, including Internet, IPVPN, SDWAN, optical network, network security, cloud connectivity, and managed services. 

Principle Responsibilities:

  1. Capture customer requirement through communication, meeting, presentation, and demonstration with the customer 

  2. Prepare ICT solution design meeting customer’s requirement and internal product and operational capability

  3. Design, configure and support proof of concept platform for customers, Design a migration plan for customers

  4. Source solutions from external parties with the consideration of the internal product and operational capability to provide post-sales support for customized solutions

  5. Team up with internal departments to design the solution and ensure smooth implementation

  6. Develop a financial justification to justify customized solutions

  7. Prepare price and cost calculation for customized solutions

  8. Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in ICT or data communications industry; University Degree or equivalent in Computer Seience, Telecommunications/ICT.

  2. Experience and good understanding of data communication services and technologies including IP, MPLS, SDWAN, Ethernet, Transmission, Network Security, Cloud

  3. Interested to explore new technologies and solutions, professional qualification (e.g. Cisco, VMWare, Microsoft, Linux, etc.) will be an advantage

  4. Self-initiated, independent, energetic, hardworking, result-oriented and able to work under pressure

  5. Creative, flexible and an innovative team player,good problem solving and presentation skills
